my golf shoes.

Last weekend was the 4th(?) Annual Weenie Dog Races - it’s a proving ground of sorts, for weenie dogs of all types.
It was a beautiful sunny morning, but there was a pungent smell in the air; that smell was pure competition. The newly redesigned starting gate was working better than ever, and the dogs were generally running forward in their heats. The weenie-philes from all over the tri-county area showed up in droves to see this showdown.
The races were not without their controversies, though. It did get downright nasty a time or two. Just have a look at this:
Ohhhhhh! Run over by a fellow weenie! Can you believe it?!
I think next year I’ll dress more appropriately for the event… something like a fantastic dress and hat, as I would for the Kentucky Derby.
